The song “Wilson Pickett” by Tim Krekel is a true story. We used to go over to the mausoleum and sing it to him. In the midnight hour.

Hey Laurie, thanks for the story. I was saddened to find out that Krekel had passed away soon after I found his album with “Wilson Pickett” on it. A real loss, and a great song. Leland
